About the Artist
Shaun Marron is an extremely talented pop/alternative singer, songwriter and performer. His unique pop-tinged sound has developed through a variety of influences including Neil Finn, Duran Duran, and the Beatles. From the moment he picked up a guitar at age 14 he found an instant connection to music and a newfound ability to release his thoughts and emotions through this artistic medium.
Shaun Marron brings a catalog of hundreds of songs that are ready to be personally performed through his collaboration with other musicians, as well as mixed and mastered for other singers and musicians to perform. His songs fill a room with catchy tunes that capture the interest and emotion of the audience.
"Good songwriting and golden harmonies is how Fawkes raises the bar. The band brings a lot of elements of some of the best pop rock bands out there, with the song "Mulch" sounding like vintage Ben Folds Five. "Drive you Home" has the feel of Toad the Wet Sprocket, and "I Need Love" has a Guster twinge to it. "Try It Again" channels Marron's and Lisardo's influences of Crowded House on the chorus and Eddie Van Halen on the guitar solo."
